Creating Your Owner’s Manual for a Secure-Functioning Relationship
What if you and your partner could create the fulfilling relationship you truly desire?
How does deeper connection, better communication, and more intimacy sound?
How about a relationship based on sensitivity, fairness, trust, and mutual respect?
You both can have all these things.
Based on neuroscience research and attachment theory, Wired for Love Couples Workshops will help you see how you can strengthen your relationship, build intimacy, and manage conflict.
Work directly with world-renowned couple therapist Stan Tatkin, PsyD, MFT, and Tracey Boldemann-Tatkin, PhD, to transform your relationship over the course of eight weekends.
It’s a psychobiological approach to better, more secure-functioning relationships. You and your partner will see and feel a difference.

Please do not reach out to Stan or Tracey with registration questions.
PACT Institute founders Stan Tatkin and Tracey Boldemann-Tatkin are now offering their wildly popular Wired for Love Couples retreat online.
This is a unique opportunity to work directly with Stan and Tracey in a small, exclusive group of couples.
Over the course of eight live online sessions, you and your partner will have opportunities to ask questions and get answers to real-life issues. You’ll learn to:
Establish a nurturing two-person system called the Couple Bubble
Understand how your brain can help you and hurt you in a relationship
Acknowledge your attachment styles – how your brain relates to other people
Form mutually satisfying and lasting agreements to make decision-making easier
Fight well and repair hurt quickly
Don’t expect a talking head or a lecture. Each session is interactive — jam-packed with demonstrations, exercises, and breakout groups.
You’ll have opportunities to practice powerful new tools to help you and your partner connect more deeply, and you’ll receive support from Stan, Tracey, and Wired for Love expert clinicians during the live portions of the workshop.
You’ll also have some “homework” to do as a couple in between live online sessions.
This workshop will meet on the following Saturdays from 9:00 to 11:30 am Pacific Time:
January 11, January 18, February 1, February 15, February 22, March 1, March 8, and March 15 2025

"Excellent workshop with skilled and caring leaders. Stan is so skilled, and Tracey, warm and a great partner. Learned so much."
"Stan and Tracey modeled that we can be dealing with serious topics but still laugh and be light-hearted about it. They normalized conflict and demonstrated how a secure-functioning relationship can navigate it."
"Stan is an incredible teacher. In a few hours, he was able to impart a depth of understanding that I figured would take months. He doesn’t teach knowledge, he teaches understanding. Very helpful workshop on becoming a better couple."
Online workshops can offer all the benefits of an in-person retreat…right from the comfort of your couch. The online workshop encourages you and your partner to set aside time to work on your relationship every weekend over the course of 8 weeks. You’ll get away from the pressures of daily life – at least for a few hours each week – and work with a world-renowned couple therapist and the developer of the Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy®.
You and your partner will spend time focusing on and learning about each other. You’ll learn meaningful exercises, practice using new tools, and develop agreements that will serve your relationship for the long term.
Wired for Love workshops are designed for couples to attend together. During each session, you and your partner will have the opportunity to practice skills and use new tools to connect more deeply.
All couples in a committed relationship and those who want to improve their relationship are welcome to attend – whether you’re needing a reset or wanting to make a good relationship even stronger and more fulfilling. You do not need to be married or planning to get married to attend.
Couple therapists are welcome to attend with their partners in a non-professional context.
The Wired for Love Couples Workshop is not couples therapy. It is not intended for couples in crisis. For example, if one of you has experienced a recent betrayal, if you’re dealing with untreated psychiatric issues or addiction, or if there’s intimate partner violence, we encourage you to seek therapy with a PACT therapist.
The workshop is not intended for therapists looking to learn more about PACT therapy. There will be no CE credits offered for this workshop. There will be no CE credits offered for this workshop. If you are a therapist who’d like to learn about PACT therapy, we invite you to check out our PACT professional training programs for therapists that do offer CE hours.
Stan and Tracey lead couples through meaningful exercises and fun experiments designed to help you identify your partner’s attachment style, read each other’s body language and arousal states, and manage conflicts. Hands-on activities help couples create secure-functioning relationships and stronger, more fulfilling connections. No public discussion or disclosure is required. All work is done as a couple. Stan and Tracey and other PACT therapists are available to offer support during the live portions of the workshop, and you’ll also have some “homework” to do as a couple between sessions.
Stan Tatkin, PsyD, MFT, and Tracey Boldemann-Tatkin, PhD, created the Wired for Love Couples Workshop based on the Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy (PACT)®, which Stan developed. PACT uses cutting-edge research in three areas: neuroscience, attachment theory, and the biology of human arousal.
Neuroscience. The study of the human brain. Understanding how the brain works provides a physiological basis for understanding how people act and react within relationships. Basically, some areas of your brain are wired to reduce threat and danger and seek security, while others are geared to establish mutuality and loving connection.
Attachment Theory. The explanation for the biological need to bond with others. Experiences in early relationships create a blueprint that informs the sense of safety and security you bring to adult relationships. Insecurities that have been carried through life can wreak havoc for partners if these issues are not recognized or resolved.
Biology of Human Arousal. How the mind and body work together when faced with a perceived threat or stressful situation Understanding the biologically and psychologically ingrained fight or flight response can help you appreciate your own and your partner’s moment-to-moment ability to manage energy, alertness, and readiness to engage under stress.
We understand life happens, and sometimes partners do not stay together. We will issue a refund if requested more than one month before the start of the workshop. No refunds will be given within one month of the workshop. If your life or your relationship is in crisis, please hold off on participating in this workshop and seek the support of a trained PACT therapist.
"I was truly blown away by how relevant almost every single demo was. People with completely different lives than ours still had similar problems, and Stan and Tracey's advice to them was so helpful to us."
"Simply wonderful. Although we were in Zoom meetings, I experienced no sense of disconnection from Stan, Tracey, or the other participants. The breakouts were fertile and novel learning experiences also. I was thoroughly impressed with the use of technology, its efficiency and effectiveness."
"This retreat helped my marriage tremendously and exceeded my expectations.” “To be better able to communicate and connect with [my partner], this retreat was a game changer for us … I can’t state enough how much this retreat has impacted us."
"We learned to regulate each other and to have rituals that keep us regulated and connected. It has revolutionized our interactions."
"Amazing! I came with an intention to be open, [to] truly understand and learn about myself and my partner and interplay, and absolutely came away with that. Stan and Tracey created a safe environment that allowed us to be vulnerable, which truly enhanced our learning. Thank you!"
