About the PACT Institute
Here at the PACT Institute, we are dedicated to helping couples thrive. We know when couples are healthy and secure, our communities are mentally, economically, and socially stronger. Therapy services play a critical role in giving couples the support they need to navigate life’s inevitable challenges. Unfortunately, some communities have limited access to these specialized services. We want to do our part to change this dynamic.
The PACT Institute offers continuing professional development opportunities for licensed mental health professionals and those actively seeking a license. We train clinicians to successfully integrate a Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy® (PACT) in their clinical practices. PACT promotes secure functioning for couples and families.
PACT graduates walk away with enhanced therapeutic skills and have seen significant growth and successful outcomes for their clients. We are excited about the opportunity to teach PACT to clinicians with diverse lived experience so that they can bring the PACT approach to their communities in a meaningful and responsive way.
How much is the scholarship?
The PACT Institute Equity Scholarships will award:
- 20% off PACT Level 1 Online Training
- 20% off PACT Level 2 Online Training
Who is eligible?
The PACT Institute recognizes that all communities benefit from equal access to high-quality mental health services. To play an integral part in reaching this goal, the therapists who train with us must reflect the diversity of our society in terms of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, and ability.
Scholarships will be awarded to clinicians from underrepresented groups who are licensed and pre-licensed marriage and family therapists, professional counselors, social workers, psychologists, and psychiatrists. If you are not yet licensed, your application must include proof that you are actively seeking licensure.
To qualify for attendance in the PACT training, a pre-licensed clinician must (a) be in the final year of graduate school, (b) actively see clients as a supervisee and/or intern, and (c) have a supervisor’s approval to attend the training.

Deadlines
- The deadline for submitting an application for Level 2 is June 16, 2023.
The PACT Institute will notify Level 2 scholarship recipients by June 30, 2023. If you submit a scholarship application, please do not register for training before June 30, 2023. You will not be eligible to receive a scholarship if you are already registered for training.
